　　Mr. Tsai was originally involved in the printing industry. While printing leather-craft books, he incidentally started to build his carrier in leather-crafting and established Golden Leather Co., Ltd. in 1980, a company that develops leather-craft sets, tools, hardware accessories, dyes, books and teaching classes and has built the fame quickly in the market.

　　Afterwards, pigskin leather industry in Taiwan started to flourish and became the main source location of pigskin import/export in the world. In order to separate different market and business, the subsidiary, Silver Leather Co., Ltd., was established in 1985 whom specialized in the leathercraft market and used “Indian” as the brand and entrust “Indian DIY” division to handle the business of leathercraft until today. Golden Leather Co., Ltd. transfer to specialize in blocks of import and export of pigskin and keep 500,000 square feet and more than 70 colors in stock to supply in short term to all kinds of factories, like footwear, clothing, hats, belts and accessories. At that time, we were the most professional supplier of pig suede.

　　However, due to environmental problem and the offshore migration of business activities, pigskin leather industry in Taiwan declined gradually. Furthermore, the environmental consciousness raised, Golden Leather Co., Ltd. once again made an overhaul to vegetable tanned leather. Golden Leather has been devoted to this particular article for many years and collected vegetable tanned bovine leather from all around the world. We set up a stock center in Taiwan and keep around 1,000,000 square feet of various regular items to supply customers over the world in minimal time. While the world focused on how to develop eco-friendly products, GOLDEN LEATHER has accumulated a lot of experience on the field of vegetable tanned and chrome free leather during these 31 years.
